The VCU Safety Awareness Orientation is a part of Human Resource's Orientation and is required for all new employees.  The training includes basic fire safety, chemical safety or "Employee Right-to-Know", and a personal safety presentation from the VCU police.  Employees will receive an Employee Right-to-Know statement and a Department Specific Quiz which should be maintained
by the supervisor in the employees file.
