The Clinical Chemistry Laboratory in the VCUHS Department of Pathology is the only laboratory in the area providing the fetal lung maturity assessment.

In addition to vital STAT and routine laboratory test analysis, we also proudly provide lipids testing that exceeds the standards of the Center for Disease Control (CDC) National Reference System for Cholesterol (NRS/CHOL).

Consultative Services  
In order to ensure proper ordering or interpretation of our testing, we are always happy to make Lab Director Consultation readily available. This is an added value service, gladly performed at no charge.

The Clinical Pathology Receiving area is located on the MCV campus in the Clinical Support Center (CSC), 403 N. 13th Street, 6th floor Room 643.
