Directory of Laboratory Tests and Services | Client Services | Laboratory Test Updates | Outreach

NOTE: The online Directory is continuously updated and is the most current resource for laboratory information.

Instructions for printing the Directory from your web browser: The left side of the Directory webpage contains the Indexes. The right side contains details about the tests and laboratory services. Simply place your cursor anywhere over the content on the side of the webpage in the Directory that you want to print, then click. For example, if you want to print details about the tests or laboratory services, place your cursor somewhere on the right side of the Directory webpage, then click. Then, click again on your print icon. Your printer will print the side of the webpage you indicated.

You will be prompted to type in the following "User Name" and "Password" when accessing the online Directory:

User Name: mcvpath
Password: testing

For your convenience The Directory contains an alphabetical listing of clinical pathology tests and an alphabetical listing of anatomic and surgical pathology procedures. In addition, we've included:

  • requirements for requesting tests and services
  • specific guidelines for testing
  • specimen collection policies and procedures
  • specimen delivery and transport procedures
  • test result reporting
  • laboratory utilization information
  • a test production schedule

The Department of Pathology provides all supplies necessary for the collection, preparation, and preservation of the specimens submitted for testing at no additional charge to our clients. We also provide preprinted multiple part requisitions for the clinical laboratory, toxicology, cytology, and surgical pathology tests.

For our Clinical Trials customers, we have developed a computer generated test request that can be customized to meet your specific needs for routine clinical testing.
